Should an RV outlet be 30-amp or 50-amp?
Match the rig. Travel trailers with a single air conditioner are commonly 30-amp; larger rigs with two cooling units typically want 50-amp service, which is also the more future-proof pad if you expect to upgrade. The two receptacles are different patterns wired differently, and adapters between them come with limits. Bring the RV’s specs to the site visit and the answer falls out on its own.
What does a welder outlet actually need?
A dedicated 240-volt circuit sized from the welder’s nameplate, with the breaker chosen to live with a welder’s burst-style draw, the correct receptacle pattern for the machine, and conductor sized for the run from the panel. My outbuilding is far from the house. Does the distance matter?
More than any other single fact about the project.
