VETERAN-OWNED IN THE PHOENIX METRO · 2-YEAR WORKMANSHIP WARRANTY · 1-YEAR PARTS WARRANTY · 10% MILITARY, VETERAN & FIRST RESPONDER DISCOUNT
[ VETERAN-OWNED · RESIDENTIAL + COMMERCIAL ] PHOENIX METRO · AZ

10% Military, Veteran & First Responder Discount.

Yeti Pros gives 10% off HVAC services to active-duty military, veterans, National Guard and Reserve members, and their families — across the entire Phoenix metro, all year, on residential service. We’re a veteran-owned and operated company (ROC #363372 · ROC #363423), so this isn’t a marketing promotion that expires after Memorial Day weekend. It’s standing policy, and it will be for as long as we’re in business.

The offer, in plain terms

  • 10% off residential HVAC services — repairs, maintenance, tune-ups, and installations.
  • Who qualifies: active duty, veterans of any era, National Guard, Reserves, first responders (law enforcement, fire, EMS), and immediate family members (spouse or household).
  • When: every day of the year. No holiday windows, no fine-print expiration.
  • Where: everywhere we work — the whole Phoenix metro, from Buckeye to Apache Junction, Anthem to Maricopa.

How to claim it

1. Mention it when you book. Call (520) 556-8929 and tell us you or a family member served. That’s it — the discount gets noted on the ticket before the truck rolls.

2. Show any reasonable proof of service. We keep this easy: a military or dependent ID, a VA card, a DD-214, veteran designation on your Arizona driver’s license, or anything comparable. We’re not running an interrogation — we just need something honest to point at.

3. The 10% comes off the written quote. You’ll see it as a line item on the flat-rate quote before any work starts, so the math is visible, not mysterious.

A few honest ground rules

So there’s never an awkward conversation at the door:

  • The discount applies to our service and labor pricing as quoted — you’ll always see it itemized in writing before work begins.
  • One discount per job. If a seasonal special beats 10%, we’ll apply whichever saves you more — you don’t have to choose blind, we’ll tell you.
  • It stacks with financing and rebates. Using financing on a replacement? Claiming an APS or SRP rebate or the federal 25C tax credit? The military discount still applies — those come from different pockets.
  • It applies to residential service. If you run a business and want commercial work, talk to us anyway — we take care of the military community wherever we can.

Why we do this

Because we’re veterans, and Phoenix is a military town. The Valley is home to Luke Air Force Base and its F-35 wings on the west side, the Arizona National Guard’s Papago Park headquarters, Guard aviation at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway, and one of the larger veteran populations of any metro in the country — hundreds of thousands of former service members and their families, from World War II-era retirees in Sun City to post-9/11 vets buying first homes in Buckeye and Queen Creek.

We know what military families deal with because we’ve lived it: PCS moves where you’re handed the keys to a house with a 15-year-old AC you’ve never seen serviced. Deployments where the spouse at home handles a 2 a.m. cooling failure alone, in July, with kids in the house. Fixed retirement incomes that don’t flex when the compressor dies. A 10% discount doesn’t solve any of that by itself — but it’s a real number, on every job, forever, and it’s ours to give.

What veteran-owned means when we’re in your house

The discount is the visible part. The bigger thing you get is how a veteran-run crew operates:

  • We show up when we said we would. Time-on-target isn’t a suggestion.
  • We work to a written standard. Arizona’s ROC publishes Minimum Workmanship Standards that every licensed contractor legally owes you — that’s the floor, and our written warranty sits on top of it.
  • We brief you straight. What failed, what it costs, what happens if you wait, and whether repair or replacement is actually the smarter money. No scare tactics, no commission-driven upsells.
  • We document everything. Quotes, readings, photos, warranty terms — in writing, in your hands.

HVAC advice for military homeowners in the Valley

A few things we tell military families constantly, discount or not:

  • PCSing into a Phoenix home? Get the HVAC inspected before your first summer, not during it. Sellers’ disclosures rarely tell you the real condition of a 12-year-old system, and home inspectors check that it turns on — not how it performs at 112°F. A one-hour HVAC inspection after closing tells you what you actually bought: equipment age, refrigerant type (R-22 is a budget red flag), coil condition, and duct health. If it’s going to fail, you want to know in March, at planning prices.
  • Deploying? Prep the system before you leave. Fresh filter, cleared condensate line, tested float switch, and a smart thermostat your spouse can control from a phone — and our number on the fridge. A pre-deployment tune-up means the person holding down the house isn’t troubleshooting an air handler alone in July.
  • Renting your Valley home out while stationed elsewhere? A maintenance plan is landlord insurance: scheduled visits keep the system alive, we catch tenant-neglect issues (clogged filters kill more rental ACs than age does), and you get the written condition report wherever you’re stationed. Emergency calls route to us, not to whoever your tenant finds on Google at midnight.
  • On a VA loan? Remember that VA appraisals require functioning heating and cooling. If you’re selling a Valley home to a VA buyer, a dead or dying system will surface at appraisal — fixing it on your schedule beats fixing it inside a closing deadline.
  • Retired on a fixed income? Say so when we quote. Between the 10% discount, financing, APS/SRP rebates, and honest repair-versus-replace math, there’s almost always a path that doesn’t torch the monthly budget — and we’d rather engineer that path with you than have you sweat through August deciding.

Part of the Valley’s military community

Phoenix’s military footprint is easy to underestimate: Luke Air Force Base anchors the West Valley with thousands of airmen and their families, the Arizona National Guard operates out of Papago Park and Phoenix-Mesa Gateway, and the metro’s veteran population runs into the hundreds of thousands — including some of the country’s largest concentrations of military retirees in Sun City, Sun City West, and the East Valley. The VA’s Phoenix healthcare system and the Arizona Department of Veterans’ Services both operate here, and veteran-owned businesses are woven through the local trades. We hire from that community, we serve it daily, and the discount is one visible piece of a longer commitment.

Common questions about the military discount

I’m a veteran but don’t have my DD-214 handy. Can I still get the discount?

Yes. Any reasonable proof works — a VA card, veteran ID on your Arizona license, retiree ID, or similar. If your paperwork is buried in a box from your last PCS, we understand better than most.

Does it apply to my spouse booking while I’m deployed?

Absolutely — immediate family qualifies, full stop. If your household serves, the discount is yours. Dependent ID is plenty.

Does the discount apply to big-ticket replacements or just small repairs?

Both. Ten percent off a capacitor swap is nice; ten percent off a full system replacement is real money — and it still stacks with financing, utility rebates, and the federal tax credit where your equipment qualifies.

Can I combine it with your seasonal specials?

One discount per job, but we’ll always apply the better one and tell you which it was. You’ll never save less because you mentioned your service.

Do you offer anything for Gold Star families?

Yes — the discount extends to Gold Star families without question. Just mention it when you call.

Is there a discount for first responders too?

Ask when you book. Our standing published discount is for the military community, but we take care of the people who take care of the Valley — call and talk to us.

I’m Arizona National Guard — do I qualify even if I’ve never deployed?

Yes. Guard and Reserve service is service, deployment record irrelevant. Drill weekends at Papago Park count the same as a combat tour where this discount is concerned — show your Guard ID and take the 10%.

Does the discount apply to maintenance plans?

Yes — 10% off the plan price, which compounds nicely since plan members already get priority dispatch and preferred repair rates. For a military family in a Valley home, the discounted maintenance plan is genuinely the best dollars-to-protection ratio we sell.

Can my parent who served claim it if I book on their behalf?

Of course. Plenty of our calls come from adult kids arranging service for aging veteran parents — in Sun City and Sun City West it’s practically the default. Mention their service when you book and have any proof handy at the door; the discount goes on their invoice.

The rest of what we do

The discount applies across our full residential service line: AC repair, 24/7 emergency service, system replacement, heating, duct cleaning, swamp coolers, rooftop package units, and the rest. Wherever you are in the Phoenix metro, the truck comes to you.
