A swamp cooler not cooling is usually dealing with dry pads, poor airflow, mineral-packed media, a weak pump, or outdoor humidity that is too high for evaporative cooling. You can safely check water flow, pads, fan operation, vents, and the float. If the unit has electrical trouble, pump failure, roof access risk, or a seized motor, stop and call.
